Nicknamed, the Jimi Hendrix of the n'goni, it can replace turn a guitar, harp, bass and amazed even the greatest player of stringed instrument. Multiplying the scene and concerts, it takes off as an artist, sets a gradually style of its own and through the African tradition with a blend of jazz, blues, Afro funk ... He is recognized as a major on the Malian scene and moved to France in 2008 where he continued his rise from concerts, festivals, workshops, conferences. Two discs: "Kono Kan Bora" and An Belebele Ka "were distributed (Mali, France and the United States for the 2nd album).

The N'Goni

The N'Goni is a kind of traditional 6-string guitar, made from a gourd cut in 3 / 4 and hollow. A stick of wood or bamboo, through the gourd and used to support the strings (two parallel rows). The calabash is then covered with animal skin (usually goat) after being pierced by a hole.

The N'Goni is one of the treasures of Africa, particularly in the area Wassoulo Mali. Musical instrument must Griot culture and the world of hunters, it has existed since the dawn of time (approximately 12th century).

Known originally as the Dozo N'Goni (n'goni hunters), it was the emblem of hunters and their brotherhood, the instrument to accompany the hunting stories, musical games between hunters, praise but also of traditional medicine and communion with spirits.

In the 50s, and Yoro Diallo Bourleil Alata, while young musicians reappropriate the Dozo N'Goni, wishing the showcase outside the traditional initiatory and to do so created the Kamel (young) N'Goni.
