Biographie

More than a band, hopes Coronthie are a real phenomenon in Guinea ... Regardless of where you walk you can hear their music resonate: in pubs, clubs, radio, in the street, even Strictly in the taxi ... impossible to miss! Drawing on the instruments and sounds of their country (balafon, kora, djembe, bolon, gongoma ...), the artists offer original groove whose success depends on the voice quality of the three singers.
A powerful show of artists ... a contagious energy ... generous ... the "Hopes Coronthie" we have music and dance in an Africa uncompromising and deeply alive.
In nearly 10 years the group has attracted a growing audience by traversing the roads of West Africa (Guinea, Mali, Sierra Leone, Congo Brazzaville), but also that of Europe on the occasion of a tour of 26 concerts during the summer of 2007.
A third album released in April 2008, recorded in Bamako, in the mythical "studio Bogolan (Rokia Traore, Ali Farka Toure ...) promises to make much noise, since the preceding summer had already sold over 70,000 copies.
