Moh De Diouf
Born in Dakar in 1974, Mohamed Diouf spent his childhood in Senegal, Europe and the United States. Early on, he improvised singer and drummer in a band with his brothers, while his family environment did not grow up music instead. Come the 80s: the lyrics of MC Solaar, the advent of the first private radio stations in Dakar and the formation of rap groups trigger in the Moh desire to write and make music by singing in Wolof.

Biographie Passionate dialectic and philosophy, he studied literature in Dakar and Paris. His curiosity, his willingness to learn and understand guide to new horizons. A tireless traveler - USA, Germany, Switzerland - he tries to decipher the cultural divisions between peoples, to make his music accessible to more people.
Singer, drummer, percussionist, Moh part in several trainings during the 90s (acoustic soul trio, jazz band ...). Self-taught, he brings to each new group a different approach of play. Dye Western music with African hues, interpreting English songs in Wolof, he draws on his roots and memories of music from his childhood and its features without complex compositions.
His first self-produced solo album was released in 2007. He obtained the recognition of professionals and won first prize with the title Adouna the World Music category at the International Songwriting Competition in the U.S., and that among more than 15,000 titles and 100 countries represented. The songs written in French, Wolof and English symbolize the link between Africa and the rest of the world. Boasting an eclectic, it continues to renew itself. Today, it offers a new directory combining arrangements of old songs and new compositions. The encounter with Jimi M'Baye, guitarist for Youssou N'Dour, considered one of the most creative guitarists of his generation, created between the two men desire to work together on the project Smile Way of Life in their Country Heart, Senegal.
As part of the movement African Artists For Next Generation, Moh-Dediouf has surrounded himself with artists from Europe and Africa to create a bridge between Africa and the rest of the world. He remains convinced that it is through music that will break up the reality of Africa.
