Biographie

Author, composer, performer, Pytshens Kambilo accompanied many big names in Congolese music, browsed the ndombolo to rumba in jazz, but also collaborated with musicians from elsewhere (Lebanon, Japan, Gabon, etc. ...). He has forged his own style and a group assembled in 2005 in Kinshasa with whom he recorded a CD 8 titles. His music, afro mestizo, is fueled both by his origins, his meetings and travels. Since 2007, leading many to travel between France and the DRC, he created a new group with which it occurs everywhere and has recorded a CD 15 tracks. We find this instrument that he holds dear and to which he gives a central place: the acoustic guitar. But in this spirit of innovation and research behind it permanently, he wished to add instruments and melodies that accentuate the cultural mix: violin, flute, etc. .. In this same spirit that we discover in this record the "Ndoa. A language invented by Pytshens Kambilo, which gives some of his compositions and his artistic universe that sound and the colors so rich its own.
